About us

The Okowa Vulnerable Community Based Organization seeks to address the challenges faced by Kanyagwal Village, a home to approximately four thousand five hundred Luo tribe inhabitants. The village endures both perennial floods and extreme dry seasons, disrupting livelihoods, causing displacement, and impacting health and education. These conditions lead to high poverty levels, health issues, and limited access to education. The organization aims to establish a solid baseline for progress by providing clean water, implementing a feeding program for schools, and sourcing essential hospital equipment.
